今年8月に唯一無二の新たなジャンル、”朗読アーティスト”としてデビューした『DarkestoRy(ダーケストーリー)』が、9月14日(土)に東京・秋葉原にて、1st朗読ライブを開催した。初のオリジナル楽曲「マリスの晩餐」はYouTubeに公開して間も無く8万再生し、このデビュー公演では待望していたファンに向けて、圧倒的世界観と歌唱力で本楽曲を披露。また、この「マリスの晩餐」を元に朗読劇も繰り広げ、DarkestoRyの演技、歌、パフォーマンスに早くも号泣する女子が多くいた。
『DarkestoRy(ダーケストーリー)』とは、オーディションで選ばれた、木暮晃石 (コグレ コウセキ)、折原秋良(オリハラ アキラ)、馬場惇平(ババ ジュンペイ)、有隅融(アリズミ トオル)の4人の声優による朗読アーティスト。歌って踊るだけではなく、声優である彼らの強みを生かし、朗読・セリフも取り入れたストーリー仕立ての楽曲を制作。公開されるミュージックビデオと連動して朗読劇を同時に展開し、彼らオリジナルの歌と朗読とダンスで新たなエンターテイメントを紡いでいく、というコンセプトだ。
8月31日に初公開された「マリスの晩餐」のミュージックビデオは、ビーストの少女“ミラ”と悪魔ヴァンヒールの唯一の生き残り“マリス”の物語が描かれている。ビーストと悪魔の壮絶な過去の中、出会ってはいけない二人が少しずつ分かり合っていく様を表現している。「マリスの晩餐」は作詞・作曲・ストーリーを奏音69、キャラクター、MV制作sakiyamaが手がけ、“切ない物語に涙した”、映画1本分見たような満足感“、”何回聴いても鳥肌が立つ“など200件を超える絶賛コメントが押し寄せている。
また、今回奏音69が手掛けた「マリスの晩餐」は、三部作のうちの第一話であり、第二話、第三話のMVではどんなストーリーが紡がれていくのか。エンターテイメント界に新たな風を巻き起こすであろうDarkestoRyの今後の活動に目が離せない。
